PROGRAM
10:00 a.m. – Reception with coffee
You will be welcomed with 2 cups of coffee or tea (or 1 soft drink) and apple pie with whipped cream.
11:00 a.m. – Boating through Giethoorn with picnic
You are invited to enjoy Giethoorn and the magnificent surroundings by boat (whisper boat (2 hours), punt (3 hours), or tour boat (1 hour)). With the help of a route map, you will pass the most enchanting spots! The culinary side is also taken care of; a well-filled picnic in a farmer’s handkerchief (ham sandwich, cheese sandwich, currant bun, juice box, chicken salad, candy bar & fruit) is on board so you can enjoy lunch on the way or on the centrally located island in the Bovenwijde.
1:30 p.m. – Bike trip through Giethoorn & archery
Upon returning, the bicycles will be ready for you to discover Giethoorn and the picturesque villages in the area. Along the way, you will stop to shoot archery under the supervision of an expert.
5:30 p.m. – 3-course dinner
Upon return, a 3-course dinner will be served, consisting of: Beef carpaccio, pork tenderloin with a bacon-onion sauce or cod fillet in herb oil with an extensive garnish and a sorbet afterwards.
